You increase your influence, territory, and allies, whilst not fighting at all. I think recruiting enemy lords is a great strategic move. For the ones playing the realistic version like me, you won’t get to do that, so RIP. That way, if the conversation doesn’t end well, you can just reload the game and start over. Pro tip: Always save the game before trying your luck recruiting an enemy lord. Instead, if you let them go, their relationship with you will increase a lot. Capturing them will forever remove the option to recruit them. Keep in mind that you cannot ever recruit lords you’ve captured in battle. If you are already on good terms with a certain lord, then it will be much easier to recruit them. It is really important for you to level up your Charm skills. Each answer will have a degree of success, and that probability is based on your own personal skills and traits.
